Some of our customers: haulers, body builders and cities across North America
Every driver wants to go homeknowing nobody got hurt.
Behind every garbage truck there is a helper, a neighbor, a kid on a bike. Cameras show the danger. They can’t press the brake. Search Eye can.

One system. Five ways it has your back.
Search Eye works the moment the truck goes into reverse. No buttons to press, no screens to watch.
Rear detection zone
Three or four infrared sensors watch the space behind the truck every time it reverses. People, poles, cars and bins all register, day or night.
In-cab alerts
A green light confirms the system is on. When something is detected, a yellow light and a tone tell the driver right away.
Automatic air braking
The system applies the truck’s own air brakes. It does not wait for the driver to see, think and react. The truck simply stops.
Driver override, with a safety net
Backing up to a dock or a container on purpose? Press Auto Brake OFF. A red light and pulsing tone stay on, and the sensors keep warning.
Built for job sites too
Dump, mixer, paving and tack trucks get the same protection for the crew working behind them. Any truck with air brakes.
Why our clients choose Global.

“Other camera and radar systems alarm nonstop, so drivers ignore or unplug them. Global’s system only chimes for real danger and can be bypassed when needed.”

“I like having the sensor on the back of my truck because it makes me feel safer, because accidents do happen.”

“Knowing that these systems have the potential to save lives is deeply meaningful. We take pride in distributing these systems as it allows us to contribute to the solution and be part of something impactful.”

“A sensor system may cost the same as one accident, but it’s going to prevent hundreds and thousands of incidents a day between mailboxes, cars and people.”

“We choose Global Sensor Systems because their products meet our needs and our standards in the security aspects of operating heavy machinery, and it has saved us a lot of incidents and repairs on our fleet, which resulted in less operating cost and maintenance costs.”

“Anything providing safety to our workers and community is good for everyone.”

“This system enables us to have a safer fleet due to some impressive technology.”

“The NYC Department of Sanitation calls our system "bulletproof". They have had it mandated on their refuse trucks for over 25 years and counting.”
